Griffiths started his career at Everton’s academy. After brief loan spells with the non-league Northwich Victoria and Colwyn Bay, Griffiths joined League Two side Cheltenham Town for half a year on loan. On 6 August 2016, he made his professional debut in a 1-1 draw against Leyton Orient.
Everton declared Griffiths’ departure on 9 June 2017 and he signed a Motherwell one-year contract on 21 June 2017. Motherwell released Griffiths at the conclusion of the 2017/18 season.
