Lange was a Tromso player in 2000. He was then sold to Trabzonspor, a Turkish soccer club, in July 2001. Lange played only 14 matches in Turkey and scored seven goals before he was sold to the Turkish side Trabzonspor in July 2001. This was his last match in Turkey. Lange made his debut for the Norwegian National Team in 2004, playing against Wales. Lange signed a Hartlepool United contract in February 2009. This was until the end 2008-09 season. His shoulder was injured in Hartlepool’s third match. Lange underwent surgery to repair his shoulder on 13 March 2009. He will be out of training for six weeks.

Lange is originally from Tromso. He joined the club Floya when he was five years old. At the age of 17, he was the top scorer in the 4. divisjon (4th tier), scoring 33 goals in 22 matches. He then went on to play in the 1. divisjon (2nd Tier) for Tromsdalen. Lange was with the club for three years, where he saw a relegation as well as a season in 3rd tier. Lange was sold by Tromso to play in the Tippeligaen (first-tier) during 1997. In his first season with Tromso, Lange scored seven goals in eleven matches. Tromso almost lost another match, but Tromso won after playing qualification matches. Lange made his debut for the Norwegian under-20 football club. Lange was nearly sold to Coventry City in 1998 after he scored 20 goals in 26 matches. Lange chose to stay at Tromso because he couldn’t agree with Coventry about the details of his contract. Lange was the top scorer in Norway’s top division in 1999 with 23 goals. Lange made his debut in the Norway U21s during that season.
He signed for Kvik Halden in September 2009. From then on, he played four games (two league and two play-off) with the fourth tier Norwegian football.
