Ross John Travis, born January 9, 1993, is an American football tight-end who currently plays for the New York Jets. He attended Penn State College of Basketball, but he did not play any college football. He signed as an undrafted agent with the Kansas City Chiefs after being undrafted in 2015’s NFL Draft.

Travis was injured in his last preseason game against Cincinnati Bengals on August 30, 2018. He had caught a Phillip Walker pass for a first down on 4th and 6, causing him to lose his 2018 season. Travis was put on injured reserve on September 1, 2018.

On February 26, 2019, Travis was re-signed by the Colts. He was released on August 31, 2019. He was re-signed on November 25, 2019. He was waived on December 27, 2019.

The Chiefs waived Travis on November 27, 2017.
