His co-ownership was dissolution in May 2011 by Milan, who paid the same amount. He renewed his contract until June 2016. Strasser joined Lecce on loan after Papastathopoulos left for Genoa. After appearing in 13 games, he scored one goal for his team. He then broke his ankle against Juventus on 9 Jan and was later called back to Milan for rehabilitation. On 10 April, he made his return, playing as a substitute in Milan’s 1-0 win against Chievo. Strasser was injured again at the beginning of the next season. He would be out of action for three months. He was unable to play after his recovery and made only one Coppa Italia appearance. Then, he was loaned to Parma in the January transfer window.
Milan announced on 20 July 2010 that Genoa had purchased half of Strasser’s rights in a deal that saw Sokratis Papastathopoulos, defender, move to Milan. Strasser would, however, remain in Milan on loan and join the first-team squad. On 23 November, he made his first appearance in a UEFA Champions League group stage 2-0 victory against Auxerre. This was also his debut in European club competition. On 6 January, he scored his first professional goal, scoring in a 1-0 league victory over Cagliari.

Strasser was born in Freetown and began his career with Kallon before moving to Milan in 2007. He was part of Milan’s under-20 team, which won the Coppa Italia Primavera 2009-10. On 21 December 2008, he made his debut in the team, playing in a 5-1 victory against Udinese. He was substituted for Kakha Kaladze in minute 82.
Strasser made an international debut for Sierra Leone’s national team in a qualifier game against Egypt at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on 5 September 2010.
On 27 July 2013, Strasser joined Genoa on a permanent deal for €3.5 million, as part of Kévin Constant’s co-ownership resolution in favour of Milan for €6 million. Strasser was loaned out to Serie B team Reggina in August 2013. As of January 2019, Strasser played for the Serie D team Villafranca.[1]
