Roberto Landi is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on January 2, 1956 in Forli, Italy. Roberto Landi, born January 2, 1956 in Forli, is an Italian association manager of football who was the last to manage the Liberia national soccer team.
Through Bryan Yeubrey, he was connected to the Port Vale F.C. managing position in October 2007.
In June 2009, he was unveiled as new head coach of R. Union Saint-Gilloise. He was however dismissed later in December due to money problems with the club.
He was hired in January 2011 to be the Liberia national football team, but was sacked in February 2012. He was linked to the position again in May 2014.
He was appointed head coach of National Bucharest in January 2005. There, he set a new record with 17 consecutive wins. In September 2005, he resigned from the position citing personal reasons. He was later appointed to be the Qatar U-21 head coach. After briefly moving to Hungary, he was appointed as the FC Sopron coach for three matches during 2006-07 before being fired for losing their local derby against Gyor.

Landi, a goalkeeper joined the Piacenza youth program in 1966. Later, he joined the first team playing in Serie C1 Division. After moving to Modena as second choice goalkeeper, he played for Ravenna then Siena before deciding to leave Italy in 1979 to join the North American Soccer League. He played for the Vancouver Whitecaps, Chicago Sting and South African sides Kaizer Chiefs FC during his North American career. In 1983, he returned to the United States as a New York Cosmos player. After returning to Italy, he played for several amateur sides and retired at 30.
Landi was the goalkeeping coach of the United States national football team in 1990 and 1994 FIFA World Cup campaigns. He was the head coach of Marignano’s amateur football team from 1992 to 1995. He was appointed head coach of the Georgian U-21 football team in 1998. In 2001, he also held the same position for the Lithuanian Under-21 team. In 2003, he was awarded a UEFA Pro License and was part the Messina managing team in their 2002-03 campaign.
In June 2008 Landi was linked with Scottish First Division side Livingston He was appointed manager of the club on June 11, August 2008 best coach of the month.
