Rob Henry is one of the most popular and richest American football quarterback who was born on January 26, 1990 in Florida, United States. Robert Wayne Henry III, born January 26, 1990, is an American football safety. He was previously a safety and quarterback for Purdue Boilermakers.

Henry was ranked second on the depth charts behind Robert Marve, who was transferred. Hope stated that Henry would be playing even though the game was still undecided. Henry was unable to get 16 yards on three carries against Notre Dame. He was named the Big Ten Freshman Of The Week after a win over Minnesota. He was awarded the Leonard Wilson Award for his selflessness and dedication. He also became the first Purdue quarterback to lead the team in both passing and rushing yards in a single season. He completed 86 out of 162 passes (53.1 percent), for 996 yards, with eight touchdowns, seven interceptions and rushed for 547 yards on 104 attempts (5.3 yard per carry). Henry was a part of 11 games for the season and made seven starts in 2010.

After a starting quarterback battle in the off season, Henry was named the Boilermakers’ starting quarterback for the 2011 season and was voted co- captain, but he tore the ACL in his right knee. With backup Marve still recovering from his owen ACL injury, Caleb TerBush took over as the starting quarterback in their place.

Henry returned in 2012, and was named the third-string quarterback behind TerBush and Marve. To get on the field, the Boilermakers used Henry as both a running back and wide receiver, in addition to quarterbacking.

Henry attended Trinity Catholic High School, Ocala, Florida. He played football and baseball and also competed in track and field. Henry was the leader of Trinity Catholic to two conference championships, and a second-place finish in the 2B State Championship. His high school football career ended with more than 4,300 yards and 39 touchdowns. He transferred to Purdue University after his senior season where he redshirted for 2009.
