Robert James Dazo Gier, born 6 January 1981 in Philippines, is a former Filipino footballer. He played primarily as a centre back for several clubs in the United Kingdom and the Philippines National Team where he was the captain.

Grays Athletic announced that Gier had been signed to a one year contract on 22 May 2008. However, in January 2009, the club transferred Gier. This was due to financial pressures and Wayne Burnett’s plans.

Gier joined Hellenic League Premier Division club Ascot United in November 2009, after being released at the end of the previous season by Grays Athletic. He announced his retirement in February 2016.

On 10 September 2012 Gier scored his first international goal for the Philippines in a 2–1 loss to Laos, however it was not a FIFA-sanctioned match. FIFA did not recognize the match’s results after it was found out that the referees who officiated the match were not recognized by the world sporting body.

At the beginning of 2007-08 season, he joined Aldershot Town and was part the team that won the Conference with record points. He played 38 league games for the club, all starts. However, he was released at the conclusion of the campaign.
