Also in 2008, Palmer covered “No Air”, an R&B hit originally performed by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown.

In 2004, Rissi was one of several African-American artists featured in the documentary, Waiting in the Wings: African-Americans in Country Music, highlighting the contributions of African-Americans in country music while questioniong why few have found success in the genre.
