Richie Malone is one of the most popular and richest Guitarist who was born on March 18, 1986 in Dublin, Ireland. Richie Malone, a musician from Ireland who plays rhythm guitar in the English rock band Status Quo, was born 18 March 1986. Malone was first able to play with the band after Rick Parfitt, previous guitarist, had a heart attack and was unable to continue touring. Parfitt passed away in December 2016. Malone was his permanent replacement.
Malone, Jessica and their three children were married on February 29, 2020. Malone is an engineer at a system integration firm and works when he’s not on tour. He also enjoys swimming, running and sightseeing and supports Chelsea F.C.
Malone had the pleasure of meeting the band several times backstage following concerts and became close friends. Parfitt had a heart attack in June 2016, while on tour with Status Quo’s “Last of the Electrics”. He was unable to complete the tour. Malone was chosen to replace Parfitt at gigs in Belgium, Edinburgh, and the United Kingdom in July. This was before Freddie Edwards (son of Status Quo bassist John “Rhino”) Edwards took over. Malone would again fill in for Parfitt for concerts in 2016 later. Parfitt passed away on December 24, 2016, and Richie Malone was appointed the new rhythm guitarist.

Malone was the frontman for RAID, a Dublin-based rock band. His father was a big fan of Status Quo and he first saw them in concert in 1999. He was a huge fan of Rick Parfitt the rhythm guitarist. He modeled his playing style and traveled to England to get a replica of Parfitt’s 1965 Fender Telecaster.
Rick was everything I loved – his stage presence and his guitar playing, as well as his hair. For a time, I had curly blond hair but it was cut short. I don’t want any imitation of him.
