His family moved to Leeuwarden, Netherlands when Amin was just three years old. He joined the youth set-up of LAC Frisia 1883 three years later. He then switched to the academy at Heerenveen six year later. He signed a three year contract extension with the club in 2013. Reports surfaced in March 2013 that Arsenal, an English club, wanted to sign him.

Amin was a reserve player for 32 games, but he did not make his first team debut at Heerenveen. After signing a three-year contract, Amin moved to the second tier Swedish club Dalkurd FF on February 2, 2017. Dalkurd was promoted to Allsvenskan in the same season.

Amin was injured in the pre-season 2014-15. Amin was again injured in his first match following recovery against FC Groningen. Amin sustained another injury during a work-out, which kept him out of the game for eight weeks. His contract was extended to the end of May 2016.
