After eight years with Fnatic, Rekkles left the team for its long-time rival in G2 Esports last November. Unfortunately, G2 were unable to qualify for Worlds 2021 after inconsistent showings in the LEC and only a fourth place finish in the LEC 2021 Summer Playoffs.
