Reduan Petara is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on May 25, 1988 in Brunei. Reduan bin Haji Petara, a Bruneian international footballer, was born 25 May 1988. He plays as a defender for Kasuka FC.
Reduan signed with Brunei’s professional club DPMM FC in the first season of the 2015 S.League. Reduan only made it to the finals of the S.League Championship for the first season, when DPMM won.
After 14 appearances in four seasons for the side, Reduan was released by DPMM in the 2018 close season. He joined Kasuka FC since then and scored a hat- trick in a 5-0 win over Lun Bawang FC on 24 February.
Reduan made his international debut with the Wasps on 26 September 2012, in a friendly against Indonesia. Reduan also made appearances at the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup qualifying rounds and the 2018 World Cup qualifying initial round for AFC.

Reduan participated in three editions the Hassanal Bolkiah trophy for the Brunei under-21s. Reduan started in all three Brunei games in his first tournament in 2007. His second tournament was in 2012, when the hosts won for the first time the trophy. However, he was not present in the final match for Hazwan Hayzah. For the unsuccessful defense of the trophy, he was one of five permitted overage players. He was a member of the under-23s team at the 2011 SEA Games and won the group stage against Philippines.
Reduan began playing club football in March United’s youth team. Reduan moved to AM Gunners in the Brunei Premier League, where his defensive performances helped his club finish third. He joined Indera SC after AM Gunners was disbanded. Indera SC won the Brunei Super League twice consecutively.
Reduan was included in the squad for the 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup qualification match against Timor-Leste on 1 September 2018, but did not see any playing time. He was replaced by Hanif Hamir before the second leg at Bandar Seri Begawan.
