Recio is one of the most popular and richest Spanish footballer who was born on January 11, 1991 in Málaga, Andalusia, Spain. Jose Luis Garcia del Pozo, also known as Recio (born 11th January 1991), is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for CD Leganes.

Recio was temporarily loaned to Granada CF on 9 January 2013. After appearing only a handful of times during the first half, Recio was promoted to the second half of the season. Five days later, he made his debut, playing as a substitute against Getafe CF. On the 19th, Granada CF scored his first goal, a 2-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano.

On 31 August 2018, after Málaga’s relegation from the top flight, Recio signed a four-year deal with CD Leganés.

Recio, a result of his performances with Malaga’s first team, made his debut with Spain’s under-21s in a friendly against France on 24 March 2011. Recio also represented Colombia in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia that year, playing in four matches in an eventual quarterfinal exit.

Recio signed his professional contract with Malaga late in the month. This was after he had performed well in his first matches. Recio scored his first senior goal in a home win against Racing de Santander on 5 December 2010.
