Rebecca Win was born 15 February 1986 in Myitkyina (Kachin State) to a Burmese mother and a Kachin father. One of four siblings. L Khun Yi, L Lun Wa, and L Seng Zi are her cousins, also well-known singers. When she was six months old, her family moved to Yangon. At six years old, she converted to Christianity and joined the church choir. She was a last year Japanese major at Yangon’s University of Foreign Languages.
She was named a women’s ambassador in 2013 with Chit Thu Wai from Myanmar, to promote gender equality and women rights.

Rebecca Win (Burmese pronunciation: rebkkaawng; born May Hnin Nu [menng:nu] on 15 February 1986), is a former Burmese singer/model. She was a performer in the opening and closing ceremonies at the 2013 Southeast Asian Games, Naypyidaw. Rebecca Win was a judge for the major televised singing contest Eain Mat Sone Yan (Where dreams meet), and also participated in Myanmar’s Got Talent which is a televised talent competition.
Rebecca Win was first discovered in 2004, when she participated in the Music Idol contest at Yangon’s City FM Radio. She was ready to release three albums on her own in 2016.
She released an album “Meka” on 9 February 2018, which was with Kachin language.
