Rippon has been a member of the Australian national team for 265 times. As a member the Australian national team, she won two gold medals in 2006 World Cup and 2012. At the 2007 World Championships, she won a silver medal. She was selected to the 2008 FINA world league preliminary round team in Tianjin (China). She played in an Asia-Oceania qualifier against China 2008 World League Super Finals. The match ended in a penalty shootout. She scored an assist for Australia in the match. She was part of the 2009 FINA World Championships team. Australia beat New Zealand 14-4 in semi-finals. She scored three goals in the match. She announced her retirement from the sport after being removed from the national team that competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She was a field player for the Australian Stingers at the FINA World Championships 2011 in Shanghai in July 2011.
