Rasim Kara is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on June 10, 1950 in Eskişehir, Turkey. Rasim Kara, born 10 June 1950, is an ex-Turkey international football goalkeeper and manager. He was a former player and coach for Turkish side Besiktas.
Kara has also coached overseas. He was the coach of the Ottawa Wizards, a Canadian team that won a league championship. He then moved to Azerbaijan (east neighbor of Turkey) to coach FK Khazar Lenkoran. Before he joined FK Qarabag, he was there for two years. Unexpectedly, he left FK Qarabag one week before the 2008-09 season began. He had a one-year contract with FK Khazar Lenkoran. Football Federation of Azerbaijan AFFA has penalized him for his behavior and ordered him to compensate his former club.
While his one-season period with Besiktas was in 1996/97, Kara displayed some decent performances as the team had competed to win the title for the last week after Galatasaray. The team also broke the record for “top average scoring per annum”, with one of the most impressive performances in European cups. Kara was forced to leave the team despite a successful season. He then owned Bursaspor and Canakkale Dardanelspor as well as Caykur Rizespor and Kocaelispor in a short time.

Kara was born in Eskisehir and began his career as a goalkeeper for the youth team of Eskisehir Isikspor. Later, he would join Usakspor as well as Bursaspor. He was promoted to the Bursaspor national team during his time with Bursaspor. In 1975/76 season, he joined Besiktas. This was where he would spend his nine-years. In 1981/82, he won the Turkish League title. Kara retired from football in 1984.
Kara represented Turkey in the UEFA Euro 1976 qualifying rounds.
