Olabiyi was a Pepsi Football Academy youth player in Nigeria. He was the team’s MVP during the 2006 and 2007 seasons while playing alongside Elderson Echiejile and John Obi Mikel.
Olabiyi joined Enyimba International F.C. in 2007. Olabiyi was a member of Enyimba International F.C. in 2007. He was instrumental in helping the club win the Nigeria Premier League 2010 and the Nigerian FA Cup 2009, 2013, and 2014. He also helped the club win two Nigerian Super Cups, 2010 and 2013. He was also trialed by Superleague Greece club AsterasTripoli in 2010. He was also part of the 2011 CAF Champions League semifinalist squad. He was awarded the league’s Wonder Goal Award in 2014 for his 3-3 draw against Abia warriors. Olabiyi donated N50,000 of his prize money towards the Ngwa road Motherless Babies home. After a seven year stint due to financial disputes, Olabiyi left Enyimba on March 2015. At that time, it was announced that Olabiyi was going to join Shooting Stars SC. This was also a member of the NPL. Warri Wolves and Kano Pillars also expressed interest in the player. Later, it was revealed that the loan was used to pay for his move to Shooting Stars. He ended the season with his hometown team, which included a 1-0 loss to Enyimba in May 2015.
