Raqibul Hasan, a Bangladeshi international cricketer, was born on 8 October 1987. He also plays for Dhaka Division. In 2006, he was a part of the U-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka. He also became the first Bangladeshi cricketer in history to achieve a triple-100 in first-class cricket in 2007, when Barisal faced Sylhet Division. He also scored a century in his first-class debut for Bangladesh A against Zimbabwe, February 2005.

Raqibul announced his sudden retirement from international cricket on March 10, 2010. Raqibul announced his shock retirement from international cricket, despite having been selected for Bangladesh’s Test team. Raqibul retracted his decision a week later. His contract with Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), however, was terminated. He was informed that he would not be available for play for his country for the next three months.

He was the leading run-scorer for Mohammedan Sporting Club in the 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League tournament, with 781 runs in 16 matches. In November 2019, he was selected to play for the Dhaka Platoon in the 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League.

Raqibul was called up for the tour of England in June 2010, and he returned to Bangladesh. After a match, his comeback from retirement was short-lived as he was injured and had to be sidelined for the remainder of the season. Raqibul was back with Bangladesh on the 8th of July, in the first ODI against England. After scoring 76 runs in his team’s innings, he was caught by James Anderson and fell on the foot. Raqibul was outrun by a runner, who was then sent for. It was discovered that Raqibul had broken his toe and would be out for the remainder of the tour. Raqibul was grade C when the BCB published its November 2010 central contract list.
