Rahimni was previously a professional player for Brunei DPMM FC during the 2009 S.League season. This was DPMM’s first successful season in Singapore since its withdrawal from the Malaysia Super League. He was only able to play against Sengkang Puunggol on the 6th of July. After a 1-1 draw, he was placed on the bench to watch the final of 2009 Singapore League Cup. DPMM won 4-3 on penalties.
Rahimni relocated to Setia Perdana to compete in the Brunei National Football League. This competition was run by the newly formed National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam. It determined the teams for a new league, which would become the 2012-13 Brunei Super League. His club placed third in the Brunei Premier League after finishing third in the league.
