Rafael Lusvarghi Biography

Rafael Lusvarghi is one of the most popular and richest Military Personnel who was born on November 14, 1984 in São Paulo, Brazil. Rafael Marques Lusvarghi, a Hungarian Brazilian ex-military, activist, and policeman was born November 14, 1984.

Lusvarghi was given the responsibility of leading his own unit during World War II, which included volunteers from several nationalities including Brazilians. The unit was called Vikernes after Varg Vikernes (Norwegian musician). Lusvarghi later informed him about the tribute. He was injured in an attack at the Donetsk International Airport in April 2015 and was hospitalized. According to the Security Service of Ukraine, he was assigned to the Donetsk areas of Horlivka and Permovaisk, and also in the Lugansk locales of Starobesheve or Debaltseve. He received a medal from Igor Strelkov. He returned to Brazil after being disappointed by Minsk II’s resolutions, Rusich’s conduct and the low quality new soldiers.

On October 6, 2016, Lusvarghi was detained by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Boryspil International Airport, having been attracted by supposed job opportunities in the Omega company and intercepted in layover. Investigations by the Brazilian independent magazine Opera claimed the company had among its clients the Maximum Directory of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, and that a preventive detention warrant had been emitted in Kiev two days before he arrived the country.

On January 25, 2017, Lusvarghi was condemned to thirteen years in prison and forfeiture for terrorism and creation of an illegal paramilitary, in a polemical condemnation which represented the first process against a foreigner for such crimes in the country, drawing attention from the Ukrainian lawyer Valentin Rybin, who started to advocate for the ex-military, disclosing that his client had confessed under torture, which Lusvarghi had himself alleged in private letters, and also had been forced to make statements against his own will, as opposed to what the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs had claimed before. Although Lusvarghi did not manage to take part in the usual prisoners’ exchange, his condemnation was revoked in August 17 by the Court of Appeal, which abode the argumentation that the original judgement had based itself solely in the confession of the ex-military, without taking account the allegation of forced guilt plea, which granted him provisional release until next trial, accomplished in December 18 after expiration of the deadline for new pleas.

Lusvarghi was allegedly a Russian child’s school teacher. He tried to get into the Russian Ground Forces but was unsuccessful. Lusvarghi then returned to South America where he claimed to have joined the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia. After serving in Cartagena, Arauca, and feeling frustrated by negotiations with the Colombian government, he left the forces and went back to Jundiai, where he worked as an English language teacher, and as a help desk assistant. After his second imprisonment in Brazil during the 2014 protests, in Sao Paulo, he was once more nationally known. He was photographed by police being attacked with pepper spray and a plastic container. He was accused of belonging to a black bloc group. After being held for 45 days at the 8th Police Station in Sao Paulo, he was released due to lack of evidence. Technical reports had proven that he didn’t possess explosive materials. Portal G1 interviewed him and said that the evidence of his crime was an empty yogurt bottle, which he didn’t even recognize as his own.

Lusvarghi is said to have graduated from an agronomy vocational college. He then enlisted in France in November 2002. There he served three years in the Foreign Legion.
