Albot teamed up in May 2015 with Dusan Lejovic to win doubles at the 2015 Istanbul Open. This was the first time a Moldovan had won an ATP Tour-level event. Albot and Frantisek Cermak, his doubles partner, reached the 2015 Kremlin Cup Final.
