Radoslav Vasilev (Bulgarian : Radoslav Vasilev; born 12 Oct 1990) is a Bulgarian professional footballer. He plays as a striker in Arda Kardzhali’s national team and for the Bulgarian soccer league.

Vasilev, along with midfielders Mitchell Bryant (Reading) and Oliver Bozanic (Oldham), was released by Reading at the start of May 2010.

On 8 June 2015, Vasilev made his senior international debut for Bulgaria in a 4–0 friendly loss against Turkey.

On 12 December 2016 Vasilev signed with Septemvri Sofia. After almost 2 years without playing he returned in play by debuting for Septemvri in the Vtora Liga on 27 February 2017 in a match against Pomorie won by Septemvri. He scored his first goal for the team on 1 April 2017 for the 5:0 win over Botev Galabovo. On 21 May 2017 he scored 2 goals for the team coming as a substitute in the match against Levski Karlovo.

Vasilev signed a contract with Slavia Sofia in July 2010. His debut in the A Group was made against Pirin Blagoevgrad on August 21st, 2010.

Vasilev joined Reading on 12 December 2007 for an undisclosed amount, following a successful trial period. Steve Shorey, father of Nicky Shorey, Reading’s Academy Recruitment Officer explained why he signed Vasilev. “He’s very different from the other players our age. He is not only athletic and fast, but he also has football intelligence. He is a beautiful size at 6’2” and can use both his feet.

Vasilev started his career in the youth team of Slavia Sofia. He moved to England in 2007 and joined Reading. Vasilev spent two-and-a-half years at the club’s academy but didn’t make any debuts for the first team. He left Reading in the middle of the 2009-10 season and returned to Slavia. After six seasons with the club, he left in 2016, after a lengthy absence because of injury. Vasilev joined Septemvri Sofia as a December 2016 signing. He then joined the newly promoted Cypriot First Division club Alki Oroklini, and then joined Cherno More Varna on February 2018.

In March 2015, Vasilev was called up to the Bulgarian national side for a Euro 2016 qualifier against Italy, but did not debut. He earned his first cap on 8 June 2015, after coming on as a substitute for Iliyan Mitsanski during the second half of the 0–4 loss against Turkey. He scored his first international goal on 9 September 2018, after coming on as a substitute against Norway in the UEFA Nations League.
