Ashley Wacholder played volleyball at Duke and was ACC player of the year in 1993.

Scott was born in Laguna Beach (California). She graduated from the University of Colorado with a Communications degree. In 1994, 1995 and 1996, she was a member of the volleyball team. She earned first-team All-Big Eight honors in both 1994-95 and 1996. She was part of the 1993 Big Eight Championship Buffaloes team. Still holding 32 records in Colorado Volleyball’s record book, including the most kills in a match (24), and the single Buffalo to have 100 attacks in one match (106 against Iowa State) in 1996, she is still the record holder. She is still ranked in the top five of CU history for career kills (3rd – 1,484), career strikes (2nd – 4,330), career service aces (4th – 145) and career digs (fourth – 1,342).
Scott won two FIVB GrandSlam events in 2004. She was joined by Walsh, the Olympic gold medalist, who filled in for May-Treanor, who was injured.
In 2006, she was the No. 2 seed on the AVP tour along with her partner, beach volleyball veteran Elaine Youngs. During the 2005 AVP tour, Scott and Youngs dealt top-seeded Kerri Walsh and Misty May a surprise defeat at the Huntington Beach Open, halting the two-time Olympic Gold Medal winning team’s 50 match win streak. The duo would go on to win five events together, all on the AVP Tour with three coming in 2005 and two in 2006.
