Rabadaba Biography

Rabadaba is one of the most popular and richest Film Actor who was born on February 5, 1987 in Uganda. Rabadaba started his musical career in 2006, when he was part of the spontaneous local music group that featured other musicians such as Grace Nakimera and Gatimo. The group split up in 2008, and the members started their own projects. Rabadaba began his solo singing career in 2009, when he released the song “Bwekiri”, which was an instant hit in Uganda’s music industry.

Rabadaba began his acting career in 2014, when he was cast as Beneath The Lies’ star studded lead.

Rabadaba became mistrustful of Thaddeus, a Good lyfe crew member and back-up artiste, in 2011. He was then arrested and held for the weekend. Rabadaba was later released on police bond. Rabadaba was to appear in Makindye magistrate on Monday to answer the cases of attempted murder, aggravated assault, and, if convicted, would serve not less than 10 year in prison. Police of Uganda visited the scene of the crime at De Posh Bar, Kabalagala to search for evidence. However, the Goodlyfe victim was admitted into the theatre four times in 24 hours. Unfortunately, he was killed.

Faisal Seguya, also known as Rabadaba in the West, is a Ugandan actor and musician currently playing Suna/Simon Kintu in Beneath The Lies. After the 2009 release of bwekiri, he rose to prominence in Uganda’s music scene. He produced many other hits songs, including Mukyamu and Oli mubi. This prompted him to form a music collabo, especially with the Good Lyfe Crew boys. Rabadaba, who had been awarded the Ragga Artist of the Year Annual PAM Awards in 2010, was one of the most popular artists in Uganda.

Rabadaba mixes his lyrics in hip-hop style. He also incorporates Ragga flow styles and Luga to create a local music style called Luga-Ragga. Rabadaba collaborated with Don MC, Love section. Rabadaba was one of the teenagers who competed for the Buzz Awards 2010. Bebe Cool, Navio and GNL Zamba were among the other artists competing for the Artists of the Year category. Song of the Year was won by Vumilia, Mr.Dj, and Bwekiri. Rabadaba was not nominated for the 2011 BTA Buzz Teen Awards nominations. Instead, other singers such as Sizzaman Dictionary or Keko won the award.
