J.” Archer II, born August 5, 1987, is a retired American football player. After being undrafted in 2010, Archer II signed with the Minnesota Vikings, a member of the National Football League.
Archer was a member of the Milwaukee Mustangs of Arena Football League in 2011 as well as the Georgia Force of AFL in 2012.
On June 22, 2012, Archer was signed by the Detroit Lions. He was waived on August 23.
From 2013 to 2014, Archer played for the Jacksonville Sharks of the Arena Football League, recording 104 touchdowns on 5,381 passing yards.

Archer enrolled at The College of William & Mary. He was redshirted in his first year and ran the scout program. He switched from wide receiver to quarterback during the 2006 and 2007 seasons. He had 69 receptions. He returned to quarterback in 2008 but was not a full-time starter until 2009, when he threw 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
Archer was not drafted in the 2010 NFL Draft but was signed by Vikings as undrafted free agent. Archer was released on June 29, just before training camp. Archer signed on November 10, 2010 with the Spokane Shock, Arena Football League.
On October 11, 2012, Archer was added to the practice roster of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL. He was promoted to the active roster on November 1 and played in one game for the Blue Bombers during the 2012 season.
