Henderson was signed to New York Giants practice squad on October 3. Henderson was promoted to the Giants’ active roster October 22, 2018, following the concussion suffered by teammate Jawill. He was released on November 6, 2018, and resigned to the practice team. On November 10, 2018, he was promoted to active roster. On November 26, 2018, he was injured in the shoulder and was placed on injured reserve.

Henderson was among seven Pitt Panthers in the 2018 Draft class invited to the NFL Scouting Combine.

On November 18, 2019, Henderson was signed to the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad. On December 30, he was signed by the Steelers to a reserve/future contract.
