Qu Bo is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on July 15, 1981 in Tianjin, China. Qu Bo is a former Chinese footballer.

Qu Bo and Zhu Yanxiang (Chinese: Zhu Yan Xiang ), were married 11 November 2011. They had a boy named Qu Jiahe on 26 January 2014.

On 5 January 2016, Qu transferred to his hometown club Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super League. He announced his retirement on 2 March 2017.

Qu was transferred to Shaanxi Chanba on 22 February 2010 after he had spent ten years at Qingdao. Qu made his debut in the club’s league match against Dalian Shide, on 28 March 2010, in a 1-1 draw. He would finally score his first goal for the club, scoring his first goal against Shanghai Shenhua on 14 July 2010. Qu was there to support the club’s decision to relocate to Guizhou, renaming themselves Guizhou Renhe at the start of the 2012 season.

Qu’s lightning speed first attracted the attention of many at 2000 AFC Youth Championship, where he scored four goals in support of his country. Bora Milutinovic noticed Qu quickly after he played in the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship. He preferred to place Qu on the wing, so that he can make the most of the young prospect’s speed. Qu has struggled to maintain his status as a regular member of the national team since his rise to the top. Qu was not selected to the 2004 AFC Asian Cup team and was then forced to withdraw due to injury. However, he was brought back to the national side for several qualifying matches and worked his way into the team.

Qu Bo began his football career in Tianjin Locomotive’s youth team. He was then spotted by Qingdao, and later transferred to the top-tier side Qingdao. Qu Bo would quickly become an exciting young footballer and would play in 17 league games, scoring eight goals. This would allow him to win the Chinese Football Association Young player of the year award at the conclusion of 2000 league season. Qu would remain a key member of the team, and after his participation in the 2002 FIFA World Cup, he would be highly sought-after by Tottenham Hotspur Premier League club. He spent a month with them before he was denied a work permit. He would return to Qingdao and help the team win its first ever Chinese FA Cup.

On 3 June 2014, Qu transferred to China League One side Qingdao Hainiu. He made his debut for the club on 19 July 2014 in a 4-1 loss to Shijiazhuang Yongchang and scored his first goal for the club on 27 July 2014 in a 2-1 win against Chengdu Tiancheng.
