Princess Superstar is one of the most popular and richest Disc Jockey who was born on February 25, 1971 in New York, United States. Concetta Kirschner, better known as Princess Superstar (born February 25, 1971), is an American rapper/dj. Two of her chart hits in the UK were “Bad Babysitter”, which reached the number 11 spot on the UK Singles Chart, and “Perfect(Exceeder),” which reached the number 3 position in 2007. She has recorded with Moby and The Prodigy, Arthur Baker and Prince Paul, as well as Grandmaster Flash.

Curtis Curtis co-produced her next album 2000’s Last of the Great 20th Century Composers. It features the song “Kool Keith’s Ass” and a remix of Blues Explosion’s “Do It Like a Robot”.

Kirschner is also a DJ. She has released DJ recordings, such as Princess Is a DJ in 2002, Now Is the Winter of Our Discothèque in 2005, and American Gigolo III on International DeeJay Gigolo Records in 2007.

For 2005’s My Machine, a futuristic hip-hopera concept double album, she collaborated with various producers such as Arthur Baker, Jacques Lu Cont, Junior Sanchez, Armand Van Helden, Todd Terry, and DJ Mighty Mi. This went to number 3 on the UK chart in 2007.

Kirschner launched her own record label in 1997. She first called it “A Big Rich Major Record Label”, but eventually settled on “Corrupt Conglomerate”. Kirschner recruited new backing musicians and recorded CEO. It is a concept album about corporate cultures.

Kirschner recorded a demo tape in 1994 entitled Mitch Better Get My Bunny. She went by the name “Princess Superstar”. The tape was sent to the College Music Journal as well as to Grand Royal Records of the Beastie Boys. She received calls from Grand Royal and CMJ, but she signed with Dark Beloved Cloud Records. They released her song “I’m White” as part of their Sympathy For Count Pococurante compilation.

She signed with 5th Beetle Records in 1995 with three of her backing musicians. She recorded Strictly Platinum, her debut album. This earned her some fame as one of the few white female rappers.

Kirschner went on to collaborate with Kool Keith on “Keith and Me” for the 2001 Princess Superstar Is LP released on Ruthless Records/Studio !K7. The album, co-produced Curtis Curtis, has guest appearances by Beth Orton and Bahamadia. The single “Bad Babysitter” was number 11 on the UK Singles Chart.
