Prince Arron is one of the most popular and richest Boxer who was born on December 27, 1987 in Droylsden, United Kingdom. Arron Jones, born 27 December 1987, is best known as Prince Arron. He was a former professional boxer from Britain who competed between 2006 and 2013. He was the British super-welterweight champion in 2011 and challenged for the EBU European middleweight title once in 2013.

Arron was able to return to the ring after the Prizefighter victory on 7 May

2010. He will be rematching Max Maxwell, with whom he had drawn the previous year. The result of the fight at Widnes was clearer this time, with Arron winning by points over eight rounds. His next fight was on 9 July 2010, when he defeated Tony Randell, his former victim. He stopped him in the sixth round. Arron won his third consecutive fight on 25 September 2010, his sixth round victory over Tony Randell, his Prizefighter win beating Hungarian Mihaly Kotai.

Arron challenged for the British light middleweight title against reigning champion Sam Webb on 13 May 2011. Webb, who had won the title against Anthony Small and made one defence against Martin Concepcion got the better of the early exchanges before a right hook sent the champion to the canvas in the 5th round. Webb managed to hold out despite an onslaught of punches to the end of the round and was eventually stopped in the 12th. Of the first knockdown Arron questioned the decision not to halt the fight in the 5th saying “He didn’t throw a shot for about two minutes after he went down” and adding “I was hitting him with big shots and he was just fighting on instinct”. Speaking of his achievement, Arron’s trainer Bob Shannon said “He’s going to be a force to be reckoned with…he’s got so much potential, he could go all the way”.

Arron defeated Tony Randell in 2008, before returning to fight in 2009, where he won victories over Dee Mitchell and Danny Gwilym. Arron lost his hopes of completing a string of wins by the end of 2009 when he was defeated by Max Maxwell in six rounds at York Hall. 2010 saw Arron participate in the tenth installment Prizefighter Series, which featured light middleweights. The tournament was held on February 26, 2010. Arron faced George Hillyard in the quarter-finals. George won on points. The semi-finals saw Arron beat Bradley Pryce, a former Commonwealth champion. This was a career high win. Arron was facing former amateur champion Brett Flournoy, who had fought his own way to the final by beating undefeated Steve O’Meara as well as former British title challenger Danny Butler. Arron won the final after a close match. In the third round, all three judges scored unanimous decisions.

Arron made his professional debut on 28 April 2006, beating Tommy Jones at Manchester’s Midland Hotel. He won four more fights that year, before meeting Anthony Small, an undefeated prospect at the Elephant and Castle Southwark on 21/10 2006. This was Arron’s fifth fight. Small lost in the second round and would go on to become the British champion in future fights. Arron won his next fight against Rocky muscas, but was defeated once again in his seventh professional bout against Danny Reynolds, an undefeated Leeds fighter. Droylsden defeated prince Arron by six rounds. This meant that Arron’s debut year as a professional ended with a record 7-0.

2007 was a busy year for Arron, but he kept his schedule intact and started the year well. He defeated George Hillyard at York Hall on February 18, 2007. After one victory against Sherman Alleyne, Cello Renda won the British Masters Middleweight title at the Midland Hotel. The fight against Renda was Droylsden’s first 10-rounder. It resulted in a win at a distance and the Princess claiming her first title. In 2007, Renda won against Martin Marshall Mathers and Olufemi Moses, before she traveled to Dublin for a high-profile fight with John Duddy. Arron lost his third fight against Duddy in October

2007. The unbeaten, more experienced Duddy stopped him at the second round.

He later won the British title from Sam Webb in London in 2011. Arron has since lost the British title to Blackpool-based fighter Brian Rose, after a split decision at Wigan’s Robin Park Arena.
