Republic TV broadcast her conversations with Sunanda and Sunanda’s assistant Narayan Singh. Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (BCCL) filed a complaint against her, Arnab Goswami and her former employer.
Sridevi is also known for her May 2017 sting operation on ISIS India-linked men. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) took note of her May 2017 sting operation on ISIS operatives, which was aired by Republic TV. After a year, the NIA asked her to share the tape. One of the ISIS operatives Abdullah Basit was eventually arrested by the NIA. Prema Sridevi was stung. The voice samples were also taken by the NIA from the journalist and an ISIS operative. The honourable court is currently investigating the matter. Sridevi’s story, “The Vadra Papers”, exposed Robert Vadra’s tax evasion. Robert Vadra, following the story, sent Prema Sridevi a legal notice and Republic TV’s Editor in Chief ArnabGoswami a formal notice over “defamatory remarks” made against his company.
