Pipo Derani is one of the most popular and richest Racing Driver who was born on October 12, 1993 in São Paulo, Brazil. Luis Felipe “Pipo” Derani, a Brazilian race car driver was born 12 October 1993 in Sao Paulo. He is currently driving a Nissan Prototype for Tequila Patron ESM at the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. He is also a winner of the 2016 24 Hours of Daytona, the 2016, 2018, and 2019 12 Hours of Sebring. Pipo, the younger brother of Rafael Derani (both well-known Brazilian racing drivers), is the son of Walter Derani.

2014 Derani competed in the final two rounds of 2014 European Le Mans Series. He finished third in the 4 Hours of Le Castellet, on 14 September, and then retired in the 4 Hours of Estoril, on 19 October. Derani drove an Oreca -Nissan 03R of Irish Murphy Prototypes. He won the 2016 24 Hours of Daytona as well as the 12 Hours of Sebring with his Ligier-Honda LMP2 LMP2 in the four endurance races of 2016 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

For the 2018 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Derani became a full-time driver at Extreme Speed Motorsports, winning at the 12 Hours of Sebring.

2010 saw Derani join Formula Renault co-pilots Jimmy Eriksson and Kevin Magnussen in the German Formula Three Championship. In championship points, Derani came in tenth. Derani joined Double R Racing in the British Formula 3 Championship 2011. With one podium finish, he finished fifteenth in points. He competed in Formula 3 “all star”, events like the Formula 3 Brazil Open or Masters of Formula 3. 2012 saw Derani switch to Fortec Motorsport from British F3 and remain with the team. He finished eighth in the championship and won at Oulton Park, Brands Hatch. He was also a driver in three Formula 3 Euro Series races, and finished sixth at the Macau Grand Prix. Derani stayed at Fortec in 2013, but he moved to the FIA European Formula Three Championship, where he placed eighth in points and finished on three podiums.

At the age of ten, Derani made his first karting debut. He was the 2005 champion of Sao Paulo Junior Menor Championship.

The Brazilian also drove at seven rounds of the 2017 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for Extreme Speed Motorsports with a Nissan Onroak DPi, winning at Road America.
