He first was in British TV as part of the Secret Army series as Erich Devouglaar, a Flemish young man destined to an Eastern Front, while for CBS in 1985, he was portrayed by the character Mr. Brent, a ‘dream broker’ in a season one episode on The New Twilight Zone, known as Wish Bank.
