Peter David Grotier (born 18 October 1950) is a English Former professional soccer player who was goalkeeper within the Football League. In his senior career, which began around 1969, the player was a player with West Ham United, Cardiff City, Lincoln City and Grimsby Town, where he later became a coach as well as briefly, manager in caretaker mode.

Grotier had 263 League and cup appearances for Lincoln as well as a stretch that saw 134 appearances in a row and was always present throughout the 1975-76 campaign. The first two seasons he played for Lincoln earned him spots on the PFA Division Four Team of the Year for both seasons.

He was noticed by Clapton and was a part of various Sunday leagues within the area before being sought out to West Ham United chief scout Wally St Pier.
