Sir Peter Martin Fahy QPM (born on January 18, 1959, at London, England) is a former high-ranking British Police officer. He was General Constable in Greater Manchester Police (GMP) the third-largest police force. He quit the force on October 23, 2015 after having served for 34 years.

Fahy was knighted in 2012’s Birthday Honours ‘for services to the police’.

In January 2014, the Crown Prosecution Service announced that they would be prosecuting him under health and safety legislation over the death of Anthony Grainger.
