Paul Priddy is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on July 11, 1953 in Isleworth, England, United Kingdom. Paul Joseph Priddy (born 11 July 1953) is a English semi- professional goalie who retired from football that played for the Football League for Brentford and Wimbledon. Priddy is the only person to hold the title of being the oldest player at Aldershot Town, when he played in 1999 aged 45 and 270 years old.
Priddy returned to Brentford and was within Brentford, which was in the Fourth Division, as cover for Bill Glazier in 1975. Glazier left the club following just 12 appearances, and The Priddy squad hung that number-one jersey, until the arrival of coach Bill Dodgin Jnr. The following year, Priddy was manager Bill Dodgin Jnr. Priddy quit Brentford for another occasion in the month of May. He played 75 times during his second stint at the club.
Priddy retired in the early 1980s, but came out of retirement to sign with Isthmian League First Division club Hampton in November 1983. A ruptured spleen forced him into retirement for a second time. An injury crisis at Aldershot Town in March 1999 saw Priddy come out of retirement a third time for an Isthmian League Cup semi-final second leg match versus Bromley, in which he helped the club through to the final. The appearance made him Aldershot’s oldest-ever player.
Priddy signed terms with Brentford for a third time on a part-time contract in August 1981, as cover for David McKellar. Now in the Third Division, he made one appearance before departing Griffin Park for the final time at the end of the 1981–82 season. In his three spells with Brentford, Priddy made 130 appearances.
Priddy returned to soccer in 1974. He joined the high-flying Southern League Premier Division club Wimbledon in which he played as protection in the absence of Dickie Guy. He then was a member of Isthmian League club Walton & Hersham and left in 1975.
