Cardona was appointed The Archpriest for the parish on the 4th of November 2007. He was appointed Episcopal Vicar of the Clergy on November 4, 2016.

In his time at this parish, Cardona constructed a pastoral compound for use by the parish. Cardona was in the parish from May 1989 to May 1990.
