Moise started racing at 16 when she began driving roads course racers as part of the IMSA series. Her Busch Series debut in 1986 at Road Atlanta, driving the No. 47 Buick Regal for Randy Hope. She qualified third, but ended up finishing 30th due to engine problems during the initial lap. She also competed in a Busch race during the year at North Carolina Speedway, finishing 34th. She was also the first female to run an event in the Busch Series event.

In 1990 she sold her team for Mike Laughlin and made the most career starts in the 24th season. Although she didn’t finish in the top ten, she was at a career high 22nd in points at the conclusion of the season. The season was also the time she got married to her husband Elton whom she was a teammate for part-time in the following campaign at Dilliard Racing which was which was where she finished 15th at Dover. She was only in one race in the following season, finishing 14th on her own number. 42 car at Watkins Glen. She raced seven races with Doug Taylor, who signed her for the following season. She was seventh in Talladega on the number. 40 Ford and placed the race 25th on points. However, she was let go after which Sawyer created a team for her team, the No. 14. Moise took part in 18 races, and placed 37th overall in terms of points. She raced one time next year in her car at Dover and was unable to finish the race, however she got into a crash during the race.
