Patrick Okedinachi Utomi (born February 6 1956) is an Nigerian professor of management and political economy expert. The professor is an Associate of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria and was a presidential candidate. He is the creator of the Centre for Value in Leadership (CVL) as well as the African Democratic Congress. He is an instructor at the Lagos Business School, and has held senior post in government, such as advisor on behalf of the presidency of Nigeria and as well in the business sector and as the Chief Operating Officer of Volkswagen Nigeria.

Utomi was scholar-in-residence, American University, Washington DC, USA, 1996 and research associate, the Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA, 1996. (Lagos Business school began operations in 1991.)

Utomi coordinated the establishment of several civil society groups on good governance and accountability such as Transparency in Nigeria, the Centre for Values in Leadership, the Concerned Professionals, and the Restoration Group. In the business sphere, Utomi was the vice-chairman, Platinum–Habib Bank. He is a columnist, and chairman.

Pat Utomi was declared as the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress for the 2019 general election in Delta State by a faction of the All Progressive Congress. In the months following the time he returned in Nigeria following his departure from Bloomington, Indiana, United States, Pat got enlisted by the former vice president Alex Ekwueme to offer consultancy services for a few documents of public policy. Shortly after the appointment, he was named Special Assistant by the former president Shehu Shagari, a post which he left after the coup d’état in December 1983 that ended his tenure as president of the Second Republic .

Utomi also ran a failed attempt for presidency of Nigeria in 2011.
