Pat O’Shea (born 14 June 1966) is an Irish Gaelic coach who hails from Killarney within Ireland. He was the manager for the Kerry senior team between 2007 and 2008 and was the winner of his first All-Ireland Senior Football Championship with Kerry. He was co-author of this publication Gaelic Football Training Drills (ISBN 0952389304) published by COS Productions.
O’Shea has been appointed to oversee the Kerry senior players during the season 2007. He chose the Dr. Dave Geaney of Castleisland Desmonds and Sean Geaney of An Daingean CLG as selectors. The announcement also included John Sugrue of Renard as his physical trainer.
At club level, O’Shea was able to lead Dr Crokes GAA to successive Kerry County Finals in 2005 and in 2006. While he was his manager for Kerry He was also a coach for his team at Dr Crokes during the Senior Club Football Championship which was ultimately a loss during the Final Replay in April 2007. Pat returned to manage his role as the manager of Dr Crokes Senior Team in 2016, and led to win their final of the 2016 County Championship Final. In St Patrick’s Day 2017 Dr Crokes were crowned champions in the second All Ireland Senior Club Championship beating Slaughtneil during the championship final. Pat O’Shea remained in charge of the Dr Crokes Senior team and led to win two more Kerry Senior Football titles in 2017 and 2018.
