Pat Kruse is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on November 30, 1953 in England, United Kingdom. Patrick Karl Kruse (born 30 November 1953) is an English former professional centre back for football. He is most famous for his five-year stint with the Football League with Brentford, which saw him make more than 200 appearances. Kruse is famous for scoring the what is believed as the most speedy self-made goal ever scoring past his own goalkeeper within six seconds of play during the January match of 1977.
Kruse worked along with the former Leicester City assistant manager Malcolm Musgrove to sign with Fourth Division club Torquay United on loan in March 1975. Kruse played in 10 games in the remaining 1974-75 campaign and was signed on a permanent basis after the conclusion of the season. Kruse made his mark as a Torquay player in during the following season, and won the Club’s Player of the Year award. One of the most memorable moments during Kruse’s tenure at Torquay was a game against Cambridge United in January 1977 the moment Kruse scored what is believed to be the fastest own goal ever in just six seconds. Kruse quit Torquay United in March 1977 after he made 79 games in the league as well as scoring four goals over two seasons at Plainmoor.
Kruse dropped into Non-League football to sign for Alliance Premier League club Barnet in 1982. He made 28 appearances and scored one goal before retiring at the end of the 1982–83 season. Differences with manager Barry Fry saw Kruse turn his back on the game at age 29.
In search of regular football, Kruse joined Fourth Division strugglers Northampton Town in February 1982. He made 18 league appearances during his spell, without scoring.
Kruse made it to the top in English football in the month of June when he joined the club he adores, Leicester City. It took him more than two years before making his debut in the professional ranks of the Foxes and made his debut with an appearance in an 1-0 loss against Tottenham Hotspur on 27 April 1974. Due to the injury of Malcolm Munro Kruse was able to fill in the following day against Norwich City, this time aiding Leicester to keep a clean sheet in a 3-0 victory. Kruse was unable to make a debut in the Foxes and was let go in March 1975. He’d only made two appearances over three seasons in the club’s first three seasons at Filbert Street.

A center back Kruse started his football career in his hometown South Midlands League Premier Division club, Arlesey Town. He left in June of 1970.
Kruse made the move from Fourth Division club Mansfield Town on loan in September 1974. He played in six games with one score in his time at Mansfield Town.
Kruse joined Fourth Division strugglers Brentford in March 1977, for what was then a club-record fee for a defender, £20,000. Opinions about the transfer were mixed, as he had been Brentford forward Gordon Sweetzer’s marker in his final game for Torquay United, in which Sweetzer had scored a hat-trick. Kruse quickly established himself in the team and made 15 appearances and scoring two goals in what remained of the 1976–77 season He flourished under Bill Dodgin’s management and became a stalwart in the Brentford defence for the next four seasons, assuming the captaincy and forming partnerships with other centre backs Paul Shrubb, Nigel Smith and Danis Salman. Kruse averaged 42 appearances a season and helped the club to promotion to the Third Division in the 1977–78 season. His performances during the 1979–80 season won him the club’s Player of the Year award. Kruse was out of favour under new manager Fred Callaghan during the 1981–82 season and made just one appearance. He left Brentford at the end of the season, after making 201 appearances and scored 12 goals in just over five years at Griffin Park.
