Pascal “Pagge” Simpson (born on May 4, 1971) is a Swedish footballer that played with IF Brommapojkarna, AIK, Valerenga IF, FC Copenhagen as well as Halmstads BK.

Simpson became a part of AIK as a member of the AIK team which took home the Swedish Championship in 1992, the first time it had won a championship in the past 55 years. Simpson played a major role in winning. He scored two goals in the game against FC Barcelona in the 1997 Cup Winners Cup quarter-finals; at Camp Nou he stunned the Catalans with a goal in the very first minutes of the game. The player was also part the AIK squad that took home the Swedish cup in 1996 and 1997. In the final of the 1996 cup, he scored the winner in the final against Malmo FF.

Simpson managed Södertälje FK. In December 2015, it was announced that Simpson was taking over Swedish third-tier team Vasalund after Roberth Björknesjö. His first game in charge was a pre-season 5–4 victory over his old club AIK.

Simpson was twice capped by his Swedish national team. He also took part in 7 games in the Swedish Olympic football team in 1992. Simpson scored the goal that qualified to the Swedish Olympic football team against the Netherlands which earned the team in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.

Simpson began his football career at Ekero IK and joined IF Brommapojkarna in 1988. He was awarded the JSM for klubblag in his IF Brommapojkarna youth squad in 1989. He made his debut as a senior player in the year 1990.

Simpson was born in Lome, Togo, to an Togolese father and an German mother. He emigrated from Togo to Sweden when he was 6 and was raised in Ekero, Stockholm. His father played professionally in Germany. He obtained Swedish citizenship in September of 1991.

Simpson had severe leg and knee problems due to a ligament injury. He had surgery in 1997 but in the end this damage caused his footballing career to come to an early end. The knee injury has caused Simpson severe pain, stopping him from running and jogging. Despite this, he has stayed involved with football by coaching youth for Brommapojkarna and lower league clubs. In 2007, he was the coach for IFK Eskilstuna but left due to the club’s financial problems.
