Parshwanath Upadhye is one of the most popular and richest Dancer who was born on March 26, 1982 in Belgaum, Karnataka, India. Parshwanath Upadhye began his teaching of Bharatanatyam in 1996 , the year he founded the Sharada Sangeetha Nirithya Academy in Belgaum and was Director until the year 2000.
Since 2002, Parshwanath Upadhye has been learning from the dancer duo Shri Kiran Subramanyam and Smt.Sandhya Kiran at the ‘Rasika Academy for performing Arts’ Bangalore. He continues to study and study the art of dance under Padmashri Prof. Sudharani Raghupathy.
In 2010 he established the Upadhye School of Dance in Bangalore of which he is the Director, Chief Choreographer and Performer .
Since 2012 he choreographs, directs, produces and presents under Punyah dance company Bangalore. Among the works presented at national and international venues are Hara, Sat-gati, Paartha, Punyah Krishna and Abha.
After 15 years of intensive instruction in the classical Mysore way of Bharathanatyam under the direction by Guru Sri Ravindra Sharma of Belgaum, Parshwanath completed his Arangetram 1996.

He completed his Visharad in Bharatnatyam from Gandharva University, Mumbai in 1993-94 followed by Alankaara in Bharatnatyam from the same University in the year 2000-2003. He also excelled in the Vidwath Examination in Bharatnatyam conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Board, Bangalore.
