Park Hyun-june (Hangul: baghyeonjun, Hanja: Po Xian Jun ; born September 22, 1986 in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do) is a South Korean pitcher. He was previously a player with the SK Wyverns and the LG Twins in the Korea Baseball Organization. He is a right-handed bat and thrower.

On July 28th, 2010 Park became the subject of a trade with the LG Twins. The Twins immediately transferred Park from the bullpen to the first team of the Twins First team in which he was an one of the Twins most reliable pitchers the remainder of the season, scoring two wins and an 5.76 ERA in 9 games as the starter. Following the season of 2010, Park was selected for the South Korean national baseball team to play at the Intercontinental Cup held in Taichung. Park played a full game to take South Korea to an 8-1 victory against Japan in the second round of the tournament.

2011 is largely considered to be Park’s breakout season, in which he pitched to a 13-10 record and a 4.18 ERA.

Prior to the 2012 season, Park was suspended by the KBO League due to his involvement in a match fixing scandal during the 2011 season. He was accused of accepting bribes in return for trying to fix baseball games. He was later banned permanently from playing in the KBO League.

Park was chosen to the SK Wyverns in the second round (8th selection 16th overall) of the amateur 2009 draft. The 2009 season saw Park was only in fourteen games in his role as set-up man and registered an 5.82 ERA in 17 innings. Following his season ended, Park received a call-up to the South Korean national baseball team and played in the Baseball World Cup, where Park went 1-0 with an 1.80 ERA appearing in 4 games as an outfielder.

As of 2005, Park was enrolled at Kyung Hee University after he graduated in 2005 from Jeonju High School. Park began to attract attention in 2007 when Park pitched a no-hitter against Wonkwang University in the group round of the national college championship (fall league) on the 12th of September.

In 2008, while the senior of Kyung Hee University, Park was the team captain to be the champions of the college championship (spring league) and was awarded MVP distinction, throwing an unbeaten complete game with two runs in the final game and registering the score of 3-0 and an 0.87 ERA through the tournament. On July 8, 2008, Park received a spot on the South Korean collegiate national baseball team to compete the World University Baseball Championship as an ace within the Czech Republic, when he was among the worst pitchers of the group. He scored a victory in the round-robin phase against Chinese Taipei in the round-robin phase, which secured South Korea a spot in the finals. He finished the tournament with an 6.61 ERA and 15 runs allowed over 16.1 innings.

Park was selected for the 26-man roster of the Wyverns’ first team at the start of the 2010 season. However, he was relegated to the minor league after posting an ERA of 12.50 as a relief pitcher.
