Pankaj Sona (born 3 November 1993) is an Indian professional footballer who plays the position of forward in the I-League with Churchill Brothers in the I-League.
On the 7th of March, 2017, three years later than joining the club Sona was able to make his debut in professional football for Churchill Brothers during the I-League against East Bengal. Sona was substitute in the 86th minute to Brandon Fernandes as Churchill Brothers beat East Bengal 2-1.
Sona completed her studies at the Tata Football Academy in 2012 and shortly thereafter signed an official deal with the All India Football Federation developmental I-League team, Pailan Arrows. But, one few years later the team ended its existence and Sona was able to go back to school after being informed about trials being conducted by Churchill Brothers in Goa. Sona was reported to have skipped classes to travel to Goa and participate in the trials. He was astonished Churchill Brothers officials and coaches. Sona began playing in the first team for the team within Goa’s Goa Professional League.

Sona was born in Jharsuguda, Odisha, Sona was advised by her uncle, who was a district-level footballer , to go to trials at the Government Sports Hostel.
