Pa-Modou Kah is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on July 30, 1980 in Banjul, Gambia. Pa Modou Kah (born 30 July 1980) is a Norwegian football coach and former player who is currently the head coach of the Canadian Premier League club Pacific FC.

In 2011, following 7 years of playing living in the Netherlands, Kah moved to Qatari club Al Khor.

He was unsigned in the waivers draft and later claimed by Vancouver Whitecaps FC on 21 January 2015.

In August 2016, he agreed to mutually terminate his contract with Vancouver Whitecaps’ first team in favour of joining their USL team as a player-coach. On 21 February 2017 Kah announced his retirement and it was also confirmed, that he would continue working at the club as a Whitecaps FC staff coach.

In 2005 the year 2005, he was involved in a motorbike incident that occurred in Peer, Belgium. He was with his wife and his cousin as well as an acquaintance. His car was hit while stopped for an annual road inspection and instantly killed his girlfriend but causing only minor injuries to Kah. The next time Roda JC played in the game, the referee Bjorn Kuipers observed a moment of silence to mark the loss of Kah’s partner. In the course of the match, Arouna Kone took his shirt off, revealing an apron with the words “For Kah”. Arouna was sent to the yellow card by the referee. This was dismissed by the commentators. Kuipers later admitted that he did not see the shirt’s text.

The family was raised to Banjul, The Gambia, Kah and his family immigrated from the Gambia to Norway in 1988 when he was just eighteen years old. Kah began his career in football in the club Valerenga at the age of 28 in. As a player with Valerenga Kah was a part of games in the league and scored nine goals. Kah gained promotion in 2001. In 2002, he won the trophy and was named as the best young player and best player in the league.

After a brief period in Saudi Arabia with Al-Wehda, Kah moved to the United States on 3 May 2013 when he signed with Major League Soccer club Portland Timbers. On 8 December 2014, the Portland Timbers declined contract options on Kah.
