The Divine Series (also known as the Partholon Series) was Cast’s early work, starting which began with the initial entry, Goddess by Mistake, released in 2001 by an independent press Hawk Publishing. The story is based on Shannon Parker, a high school English teacher from Oklahoma who meets Rhiannon the Celtic goddess of a different dimension that is ruled by centaurs. After the success of Cast, the original story was republished under the name Divine by Mistake, and was followed by a sequel, Divine by Choice, in the year 2006. Two additional installments in the franchise came out in 2007 and 2009.
She is her own author, P.C. Cast is best known by her Goddess Summoning and Partholon book series. Her first novel, Goddess by Mistake, first published in 2001, received the Prism, Holt Medallion, and Laurel Wreath awards, and was a finalist in the National Readers’ ‘ Choice Award. her subsequent books have been awarded a number of awards.
