Oscar Moens is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on April 1, 1973 in 's-Gravenzande, South Holland, Netherlands. Oscar Moens (born 1 April 1973 in’s-Gravenzande) is an ex- Dutch footballer, who is currently in a commercial role for Sparta Rotterdam.

The contract was not able to meet the IRS inspection however and a subsequent disagreement among Moens as well as Scheringa caused Moens being forced to take a sick leave towards the end in the season 1999-2000. This meant that Moens was subsequently removed from the first team indefinitely.

Italian Serie B club Genoa contracted Moens for the 2003/2004 season, although he never played a match for this club. Willem II saved him from falling into obscurity by signing him the following season.

In 2004/2005 Moens had a good first season, earning him a recall to the Netherlands national football team. In 2005/2006, however, he suffered an injury which only allowed him to play 11 games. In the summer of 2006 he moved to PSV Eindhoven, as second keeper behind Heurelho da Silva Gomes. He ended his career in 2007 but returned to the game in 2008 at Willem II.

Oscar Moens made two appearances in the Dutch national team. On the 13th of October 1998, Moens took part in his first international game in a friendly against Ghana at the Gelredome in Arnhem and the match ended an 0-0 draw. His next appearance was on November 10, 2001, against Denmark in which he was a part of throughout the game. Final score: 1-1 including Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink scoring for Holland.

Moens started his professional football career with the first division side SVV during the 1990/91 season. The team was merged with Dordrecht in the year 1990, and was renamed SVV/Dordrecht’ and, for the 1992/93 season, he joined Excelsior Rotterdam. The club then moved the team to Go Ahead Eagles in the winter of 1995/1996 because this allowed him to participate for the Eredivisie. After the conclusion of this season, he was purchased by AZ Alkmaar in the amount of f750.000 ($340.000).
