After a string of impressive results at Naxxar Lions, Orosco left the club to join his fellow Maltese Premier League outfit Sliema Wanderers during their 2000-01 campaign. In his debut season at Sliema Wanderers, Anonam made 26 appearances and scored 22 goals, guiding the club achieve an eighth place finish at the top of the Maltese Premier League.
