Omar Koroma is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on October 22, 1989 in Banjul, Gambia. Omar Alieu Koroma (born 22 October 1989) is a Gambian footballer currently playing with Dulwich Hamlet. Koroma is also an ex- Gambia international.
On the 4th of August, the 4th of August 2008 Portsmouth Manager Harry Redknapp confirmed that a two-year contract with Koroma was signed by Banjul Hawks, and confirmed that Koroma would spend the 2008-09 campaign at Championship club Norwich City on loan. Koroma made his debut for Norwich on August 9 as substitute in a 2-0 loss to Coventry City.
He made his Forest Green debut on 27 August 2012 although was sent off after 34 minutes in an away game against Kidderminster Harriers. After making 20 league appearances for the club, he left on 23 January 2014 by mutual consent.
He then went on trial with Conference Premier side Forest Green Rovers. He scored a brace in a 2–1 reserve team victory over Crawley Town on 23 April
- After a lengthy trial period with Forest Green, Koroma agreed to a three-year contract at the club in May 2012.
In the last week of November 2008 Koroma had a major ankle fracture that required surgery. The surgery took place during January of 2009 giving him with a recovery time of 10-12 weeks. He was back in Portsmouth at the close of January, but was released in the summer following.
