During his time at the Election Commission of India, elections to state legislatures in Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Puducherry, Assam, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh were held. Alongside, presidential as vice-presidential and presidential elections were also scheduled to scheduled during his time in the Election Commission of India.
